Good quality everyday pan
I bought this pan for my boyfriend because I was tired of bringing my own cookware when I wanted to cook at his place (using his old cookware from a garage sale wasn't an option for me).
It cooks as well as my Calphalon cookware as far as I can tell. My only complaints are that the glass cover doesn't fit "tight to lock in flavor, texture and nutrients" and the handles get too hot.
FYI - Washing it in the dishwasher will eventually wear down the nonstick coating. I'd never put my cookware in the dishwasher, but that's something to keep in mind if you do.
Good pan for the money
After 5 years my original Calphalon Everyday Pan lost it's finish so I bought this one as a replacement. The new pan is not nearly as nice as the original but for the money it is good enough. The finish is good and it arrived sooner than expected. The only thing I don't like is that it is not as deep as the original which means I need to be careful when stirring things to keep it all in the pan. I am no longer going to pay top dollar for a pan that has a lifetime warranty because I have heard too many stories about the hassle when trying to get a pan replaced. If this pan lasts 3-4 years I will have considered it a good value.
How did I live without it
I love this pan. I bought it for a chicken roasting recipe I have, and it's perfect for that. I love that it goes from stove to oven to counter to dishwasher--yes, it fits easily in my dishwasher. Though it cleans up easily without putting it in the dishwasher because of its non-stick finish. Nice pan.
