Beautiful jars! Come with 3 extra lids that also fit Ball mason jars.
I own several types of Bormioli Rocco jars and have been very satisfied with the quality. Bormioli Rocco products are also available at my local Williams-Sonoma outlet (sometimes at better prices than on Amazon). I purchased these Quattro Stagioni 3-piece set to hold homemade BBQ sauce. These jars are made in Italy. The glass is lead-free and the lids are BPA free which is important to me. Please note the packaging does not state BPA-free... I came across this info elsewhere, however BPA is banned in most European countries so I believe the packaging does not even have to mention it for this reason. The jars came with 3 extra lids, which I didn't expect so this was a nice bonus. It turns out they also fit my Ball mason jars perfectly. These Quattro Stagioni jars look to be similar in size to typical pasta/tomato sauce jars--maybe a little bigger. They hold about 4 cups of fluid.
