Kitchen Utility Pot Rack w Wood Slat Shelf & 5 Metal Hooks

Sturdy and Attractive
I purchased this item and installed it in my small apartment above the stove. The product looked great and provided easy access to all my pots and pans. If installed correctly (in studs), it will hold a lot of weight. I am a kind of handy female and was able to mount it on the wall with no problems. After several years I moved out of the apartment, but left the shelf there for future tenants to enjoy.

Perfect, my prize item in my kitchen
I love this product. It is well made, went up easily between my daughter and I on steps ladders mounting it on the wall above my large, old fashioned stovetop. It looks awesome, has held up under a good amount of weight from my pots and pans. Lots of hanging pots that come down and go back up daily. I love this thing! You wont go wrong. Dont know why the other reviewer had such a difficult time with theirs... shame, it's really well made.

Cannot describe with one word
Unfortunately, this was not one of the best products made or purchased, it was not easy to install, needless to say one of the butterflies never opened and made a bigger hole in the wall, that it didn't help, the material itself was weak, my husband ended breaking one piece, and unfortunately it was tossed in the garbage.

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 12" Open Skillet, Orange

Best Pan I've Ever Owned!!!
I absoultely love this pan. Food does not stick(I use EVOO spray) and it's a quick clean in the sink. My only advice is DO NOT put this in the dishwasher. The bottom will start to turn sliver. Also if you scratch with a fork or sharp object, it will start to turn a rusty color overtime when using a dishwasher. Use a spatula and wash in the sink. Yes, this is my second one due to not listening to the instructions. NO Dishwasher. After owning one month, still looks brand new. One more helpful advice is when washing make sure food isn't trapped underneath the inside edge of the two handle screws. Hope this helps...

Update 5-22-09: Just wanted to let you know the pan is still in perfect condition. I eventually went ahead and bought the whole set around Christmas time for a really great price. All pieces still look brand new. By the way, we do use one or two pans atleast 5-6 days a week.

Misrepresented item
This is a well made, reasonably priced, but, misrepresented skillet.
If a skillet is advertised as a 12 inch skillet, it should have a 12 inch surface to cook on. This skillet actually measures 8 1/2 inches on the bottom. It is 12 inches at the top. I don't cook on the top, so, it was returned. If you are looking for a skillet that has an 8 1/2 inch bottom surface, this 12" skillet is for you.

Love this pan
This is a great product that lives up to it's product description. The surface is great, nothing sticks. The handle is soft and easy to grip. It cleans up in a snap. I've had the more expensive version of this pan, and would take this one any day. My only complaint is that I wish it had a lid.

CIA Masters Collection 7-Ply Copper Clad Stainless Steel 1 Quart Open Saucepan

Great Pan
Heavy duty pan with comfortable handle. Have use several weeks now and love the way it cooks. Accidentally left the pan on with some hot dog sauce and rather than burn, it just slowly reduced the sauce. It was very inexpensive, a try me price, and I will be adding another piece or two of this line.

Nordic Ware Pro Cast Traditions Enameled Braiser Pan with Cover, 12-Inch, Midnight Blue

This is a lasting piece of cookware.
All I need to say about this pan is, I love it and I am pleased with this purchase, I would recommend it to my friends.

More Than Just A Braiser. Wonderful Mid-Size Pan For Many Uses.
This pan is much more than just a braiser for me. I don't eat much meat, but I do make a lot of bean and vegetable dishes. This pan is perfect for my "in-between" size recipes. If my large soup pot is too big, and my big saute pan is too small, this 4.5-quart braiser pan is usually just right.

I love the way the pan distributes heat evenly when I'm cooking on the stove top. I have a vegetable korma recipe that uses a lot of thickly cut vegetables. It can be hard to cut them all the right size so they'll be tender at the same time. When I made the recipe in this pan, the even cooking worked like a dream. All of the vegetables were tender but not mushy, and full of flavor.

I have a Greek chicken stew that goes in the oven. I've made it in a cast-iron Dutch oven before, but I like it better in this braiser pan. The pan is wider, and I can spread all the chicken and potato pieces out so they cook faster and more evenly. The cast aluminum is also a much lighter...

great pot
I choose this pot because it says what it can do, and it can do all cooking like a pro chef and I LOVE AMERICA HAPPY NEW YEAR TO NORDIC WARE you will make my new year in kitchen a pro chef tnank you.

VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS ORDER!
This griddle was exactly what I hoped it would be. Its shape and weight are perfect for making French Toast, and it's very easy to clean afterwards. The price was fair, and the shipment very speedy. It's safe atop ceramic cooking surfaces, too.

Norpro Grip-EZ Stainless Vertical Cooker Steamer

decent item
I've never had an asparagus pot before and it was extremely difficult for me to cook this vegetable properly.
Finally I owe such a pot and I really like it. I also use it for cooking corn.
It's not only useful but also pretty. I can wash it in the dishwasher.
Price was also good.

Piece of garbage!
I used this steamer, just once, for asparagus. It came out great. However, the inside of the pot was stained after hand washing it with warm soap and water. Worse of all, the knob on the lid broke off! Very poor quality. Do not buy!

Calypso Basics 3-Piece Microwave Steamer Set, Black

Thoroughly Adequate
Enh - it's plaisdhig cookware, y'ken? It's cheap and effective and dishwasher-safe; all in, it does what I wanted of it. (Some may find the wee steam-vents on the top useful; I don't.) Recommended if this sort of thing is what you are looking for (they do nest nicely in the cupboard).

nice
the calypso steamers are really sturdy and nice, I'm glad because i had order 2 sets. lots of colors to choose from.

Just what I needed
I bought these to replace some older microwave cookware that seems to have vanished over the years. This set is ideal. The pieces are very durable and the lids fit tight. The black caps on top allow the heated air to escape during cooking. I expect I'll buy another set shortly.

Aluminum Steamer Rack (fits 14 inch wok)

Steaming
This and a lid will transform any wok into a huge steamer, large enough to steam lobsters and Dungeness crabs, for example. It's inexpensive, well made, and exactly fulfills its purpose. The supplier was more than forthcoming and helpful. Delivery and packing were of the first order.

It's good, but
This steamer works well, but it's hard to remove small-cut vegetables/items from it since there's no handle. The steamer has a tendency to shift if you try and use a spoon or even tongs to remove the items and I don't want everything getting wet in the 1,000 degree water below especially my hands. It's very durable and will last a lifetime. I may "mickey mouse" a handle or a chain to make my life easier. Have a nice day.

Too small.
At just over 10 1/4", it will basically sit at the bottom of the wok, so you can't get a lot of steam going, and it's certainly not a lot of surface area to work with. Since this was for a 14-16" wok, I was hoping for something 12" or wider.

BergHOFF Earthchef Professional 8" Copper-Clad Fry Pan

Looks nice.. I'll Pass
The pan initially looks great and Black Friday price was very good. Nice feel. Very solid construction. Would display nicely hanging on pan rack. However, the pan came with a scratch on the rim. Cooked Salmon with Olive Oil. The results were excellent, but it took over 10 minutes to clean using Bar Keepers Friend. I was not impressed. I compared cooking the Salmon with the Cusinart Green Pan. I used no oil and results were comparable, if not better, than this pan and clean-up with less than a minute.

This is a great stainless pan!
This is my favorite stainless steel pan now. It's flat, has great heat distribution, and heavy. People who complain don't know how to cook on stainless. Any stainless pan is going to cause sticking if you don't know what you're doing. Temperature is key. For meats, get it hot, and the food will release in a minute or two. Use a little cooking oil, and get it hot enough to just before the smoke point. Most of the time clean up only takes a few minutes with bar keepers friend. No mater how much stuck on oil I had, I could clean it in about 10 minutes. Comes out looking like brand new.

I highly recommend this product, and I think if used correctly, this BergoOFF pan will last a life time.

Not a good pan.
I have the BergHOFF Earthchef series and love them. This pan is absolutely terrible. Very light weight and EVERYTHING sticks to it no matter how or what you are cooking. Complete waste of money. Do not buy.

Le Creuset Square Dish Bonus Bonus, White

use it all the time
I ordered White and Kiwi together. Love them both and use them all the time.
I actually use them as serving dish more than using them as casserole dish.
And these are the perfect size for my family since it's just my husband and myself.
I thought about buying the bigger ones but I decided to buy these and very happy with the size.
And the bonus dish(smaller one) is a decent size, too. Perfect size to bake Spinach & Artichoke Dip.

Five Years of use
We have had this set for five years and it's still going strong. There's a little bit of crazing on the inside of the larger pan but it still works great. We use the smaller pan to make small fruit crisps and it works excellent for that.

Great for Baking!
Excellent price point on Amazon. These have been wonderful in the kitchen and make a HUGE difference over the old corning ware (glass ware) we had always used. No more HOT spots!!!

Winco Stainless Steel Mandoline Slicer Set with Hand Guard

High Quality Equipment
After many hours of research it was the correct decision to buy a professional quality Mandoline Slicer vs the less expensive plastic versions. It complements other SS accessories in the kitchen if you leave it out on the counter. It does come with a small white plastic box to hold the 5 blades (looks cheap in comparison to the slicer). I've seen a unit with a carrying case, wish this one had it for storage.

Instruction manual is minimal but sufficient. Two of the blades are inserted from the right, 3 are inserted from the left which makes it a no brainer to insert correctly.

I've only tried the sliding blade to cut eggplant and honeydew melon. Exceptionally even slices. It easy to clean but be careful, the blades are very sharp. Two knobs on the side make it a breeze the adjust slice thickness.

If you plan on using the slicer at least once a week, it is worth the investment.

I'll add more when I have more experience...

Wish I could return it!
I ordered this expecting a truly professional piece of equipment. I was a little disappointed the first time I tried to use it and it shredded the potatoes instead of slicing them. It's difficult to adjust the size of the slice you want also. I had a cheap plastic one for years and it worked great from the get go, more money isn't necessarily better. I haven't tried to use it since so I may change my opinion the next time I try using it. Also the blade storage case arrived broken, so I had to put a rubber band around it to keep it closed.

I tried using it again to make sweet potato fries and it shredded the potato! No matter how hard I tried to keep it level and push it through, no way! It's like the blades are dull but they don't look dull.

Really wish I could return it because it's good money going into the trash! I had a cheap plastic one that was easier to use and cut much better.

Dull blade--what's the point?
After reading a lot of reviews of many mandolines I ordered this one. It's very attractive and seems well-made. But the main cutting blade (I never tried all the other specialty ones) is really dull and I felt like I was in danger of cutting myself because I had to use so much force to cut anything. My regular cooking knives are sharper. The slices were not of uniform thickness because the initial force that was needed to start each cut diminished as the blade went through. It destroyed the tomatoes I tried to slice. I emailed the company and asked if they had sharper blades. They sent another set of the exact same blades. I am sending it back. The mandoline quest continues.

KitchenAid Gourmet Non-Stick Stainless Steel Fry Pan, 12"

I LOVE THIS PAN
I PURCHASED THIS PAN A WHILE AGO BUT FORGOT TO REVIEW IT. I USE IT ALMOST EVERY TIME I COOK, WHICH IS EVERY DAY. ITS WELL CONSTRUCTED AND CLEANS WONDERFULLY IN THE DISHWASHER.

LOVE IT!!!!

Smaller than I expected
The top of this pan is the same size as the one I was replacing, but the sides are sloped far more. That results in a smaller usable cooking area at the bottom of the pan. Not a big deal, but now I make smaller crepes.

The nonstick surface is amazing though. I'm pretty sure even the butter was beading up.

Absolutely THE best for electric stovetops
Having tried numerous other brands of frying pans - all of which warped after a few uses, despite careful handling - I decided to try this Kitchen Aid. It is wonderful! It distributes the heat evenly; and, most important, it has a very heavy base that does not warp. I was a bit concerned that the handle would get too hot, but it doesn't. Even though expensive compared to other manufacturers, I feel it is worth every penny.

All-Clad Stainless Steel Multipot with Mesh Insert, 8-Qt.

excellent multipurpose pot
Excellent pot for large batches of pasta or veggies or anything you want to boil. You could likely choose to use it to deep fry, as well , but I have the all clad deep frying basket for that. However, this one would certainly hold much more. And you can choose not to use the insert and you have the best priced all clad stock pot on the market. (The 8 qt stock pot currently runs $259.) As with all All Clad products, this set is very well made and will not disappoint. Excellent value rating from an All Clad lover and loyal user.

Mesh insert unwashable. Buy pasta insert instead. BTW BEST ICE BUCKET EVER
I wanted this to boil potatoes, and it does that, but it's so hard to scrub the potato starch out of the mesh that I use a completely different mashed potato recipe. Buy the pasta insert instead with holes punched in a solid panel of metal, which should do everything you'd want from the mesh insert. By the way after years of professional and amateur bartending and catering I rate this as the BEST ICE BUCKET EVER. User-friendly and keeps ice frozen for hours, and doubles as a cooking pot the rest of the year. However, my recommendation to buy the hole-punched pasta insert still applies for the same reasons.

Seriously, though, BEST ICE BUCKET EVER.

Trudeau Microwave Double Egg Poacher

perfect poached eggs every single time
a little butter, teaspoon of water, power 80, carefully fork each yolk so it doesn't run out or get too hard in the middle, 2 minutes.. perfect every time :-) So glad to own this item. Poached eggs on the stovetop takes entirely too long.

What a time saver, and great tasting too!
I am really glad I discovered this kitchen accessory. And it makes poached eggs much better than the long, stovetop way.

But you have to be careful. The first time I used it, and followed the microwave directions for the double egg poacher, which were to cook at medium power for approximately 30-45 seconds, the middle of the eggs were very runny at the end. When I cooked them longer, then they were curdled.

I almost tossed this gadget out, but then thougt to myself: My microwave doesn't get terribly hot. Perhaps if I increase the medium power setting to 60, keeping the same time setting of 45 seconds, the eggs will cook correctly. And they did. In fact, perfectly! So it is wonderful not to have the leftover dishes and to go through the whole procedure of poaching eggs when it is simplified with even better results with this accessory. But I repeat you may have to experiment to find the right time/power setting for your particular microwave.

I...

Egg poacher
Product was a disapointment for this price range. Area for eggs is to small, they tend to spill over the side when putting in microwave. I put it on a paper plate, being made of silicone it's not to stable. It cooks unevenly at times, one side will cook more then the other. It's not easy to clean, even after soaking. I always seem to miss a spot no matter how hard I scrub it. It's better then some of the cheaper ones, but I would not have bought it knowing of these problems.

Chef King 10 Gauge Steel Griddle, 12 Inch x 20 Inch

Works On Induction Range, Better When Seasoned
. I have a new induction range. It heats only magnetized materials like steel and cast iron. But, it needs to be pretty much full contact with the range in order to heat it - which means no raised lip around the edge. Most grills offered work well, I assume, on other types of ranges, but most all have a lifted edge on both sides, to retain the fat, I guess, but it serves to lift the bottom off direct contact with the range, so it won't work. Most grills do not work on an induction range, this one does.
. I followed the company's video to season the grill. I got the same color marks the video did, but the grill was not seasoned, and pretty much everything stuck somewhere, except bacon. Even using the bacon's fat, eggs and pancakes failed to lift off smoothly. I wanted this to work, not send it back, so I found a method of seasoning cast iron that worked on this, too.
. I put the grill in the oven at 450 F for 30 minutes (thick piece of steel) as I wanted it to be evenly...

grand little pan
such a great griddle. you don't have to be careful cleaning like those with non-stick finishes, yet it is by nature non-stick. Highly recommended.

Awesome Griddle - Totally Satisfied
Pros: We prefer cookware free of man-made coatings, so have mostly stainless steel. However, a residential stove top stainless griddle is difficult to find. This steel griddle is awesome. It seasoned easily and now just requires a light scrub with a non-abrasive scrubber. We use it on a gas range and couldn't be happier - it's perfect.

Cons: None.

Seasoning Comment: The reviewer worried about carbon monoxide failed to notice this was only an issue during seasoning, when you heat cooking oil to very high temperatures. In fact, if you ever overheat oil during the normal course of cooking, you're making carbon monoxide and should ventilate immediately! Otherwise, there is no issue with carbon monoxide when using this griddle!!

Imusa Stainless Steel Stock Pot, 20 Quart

Only 16 quarts!
Do not buy if you want a 20 Qt pot, this one is only 16 Qt. I had to return to Amazon twice. It is clear to me that this vendor is selling this pot as 20 Qt when it is not. Amazon said they would investigate, yet this item is still listed on their site. Why would Amazon let this vendor lie to their customers?

Very poor quality
Over all this is a poorly put together product. At the price I didn't expect a whole lot, but I expected more than I received. The biggest problem was that the stainless steel coating was breached in several areas , especially on the rivits where the handles attach. The pot itself was of very thin metal and looked like it would become damaged very easily. I decided to retun it as soon as I saw it, and spend the extra money on a better made product. This might be OK for some applications, but for a little more money you can get a product that will last much longer and have fewer problems in the long run.

I should have read the reviews before I bought this
The other reviews are correct. This is a shoddy product. It's of inferior quality. And it's pictured with a lid but doesn't actually have one. I realize now that if it came with a lid it would be titled "stock pot with lid", but I didn't before. So they should get a picture of one without a lid. And if you actually want a good stock pot, buy something else.

Lodge ASPHH31 Silicone Pro-Logic Handle Holder, Blue

Works Great on Metal Wok Handles
I got the sharply angled holder for my Lodge (and other) skillets and Dutch Ovens, and this for the very old DO with the large rectangular handles, to see if they would fit and work. These work very well on the handles I bought them for, and are usable on all the others.

I tried this rectangle holder on my 4 metal handle carbon steel and lightweight Chinese cast iron woks (all from Wok Shop, Amazon). These are deeper that the angular holders, and fit the wok handles all the way to the wok edge. If this holder gets hot, a cheap pot holder over it works fine.

The big plus for me is the safety issue. On the kitchen stove the wok handles rarely get hot enough to cause a bad burn. On the outdoor Big Kahuna (Amazon $79) the woks, or any pots or skillets, get very hot as do the handles. Having one of these holders in blue or red on a hot handle is a great warning that the handles are hot. This has prevented several bad burns when someone didn't realize the handles, and...

uesless way to wide and too deep
useles for the frying pan in the five piece set and you really do need the assist to lift the cast iron

Cover
Fits too loosely but it does the job, I like it better then using a hot pad. Would buy the smaller one next time.

Victorio Kitchen Products VKP1145 Aluminum Multi-Use Canner, 20-Quart, Silver

Great for my flattop stove
I have searched for a good priced flat bottom water bath canner for use on my flattop stove. This one satisfied all my needs and wants!

Perfect for our canning
We now have over 20 quarts of pickles thanks to this year's canning. We had been borrowing a very old pot from my parents. This one is much nicer, roomy, works well. I know the description says for "beginning' canning, but I don't know what else you could want our of a canning pot. My mother who has been canning for 60 years now wants to replace her old one and get one of these.

Five Star Product!
I have used the black coated canners in the past and needed a new one and saw it in stainless steel that was quite heavy. So, I thought, well aluminium is lighter and what a great product! Love it and have used about 5 times now. Easy to clean up, love the thermomenter and vent. Five Stars!

Granite Ware 6140-4 7-Quart Blancher

Be Careful
I gave this blancher only 2 stars because of the poorly welded handles. I went to pick up the blancher (minus the colander insert) and pour out the very hot water left over from blanching peas and just happened to notice, thank goodness, that the handle was half off of the pot. Had I not noticed I would have been scalded when the handle broke and the water spilled all over me. Other than that (!) the blancher is fine. So be careful and inspect the handles of this product if you decide to buy one. No matter the price the handles should be safely adhered to the canner. Consumers are dealing with extremely hot water!

Very Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this product. First of all, when it arrived, it was bent at the top so the lid doesn't fit good. The other thing is that there are large holes in the bottom of the insert which makes it impossible to use for blanching peas, etc. They will fall right through. About the only thing it's good for blanching is corn on the cob.

blancher
A nice finish and just the right size for vegetables. I thought it was too small to cook vegetables for the holidays but I was wrong. Peas and squash worked perfectly in this pot for our big meals. I'm a first time blancher user and can see this little pot will belong right in front on the pots and pan shelf!

Calphalon 3-pc. Unison Nonstick Sear and Slide Essentials Set with Lid

Much Heavier Than Most
These pans are not light weight, thin sided aluminum. They are as thick, but not quite as heavy as my cast iron. So far I've not had to heat these above medium heat, and I still got a nice crusty sear on scallops and salmon on the sear surface pan. The slide pan works just as well on medium as any other I've used on high. These pans are a little on the pricey side for me, and the price seems to be locked in, same here as BB&B, the outlets etc. They don't appear to be prone to warping. I'll try to remember to edit this review in a few months to comment on the nonstick surface longevity.

UPDATE:
Well it is three months later. The pans still look fine, not scratched, scorched or warped. No metal utensils were used in them, never heated over medium. Only difference is, they're not non-stick anymore. I still use them, they are fine pans, just not non-stick anymore. I'll contact customer service at Calphalon to see if I can get them replaced as they are not abused. I will...

Slick!
Great replacements for two of my favorite Calphalon Professional Nonstick pans losing their nonstick coating, after 10 or so years of use. Will send them back to Calphalon for replacements, but I have no idea what they will send back, if anything, under lifetime warranty. Meanwhile, these are great. Not so heavy, longer handles and helper handle on saute, which is useful. Liking the tempered glass lid, too - fits both pans. $99 for two premium pans, plus the lid, is a pretty good deal.

Glad I got this bargain
I have not really discovered the "sear" quality of the one pan yet. But 2 nice, heavy, 10" pans with a quality lid that fits both is a deal. I can see them lasting a good while.

Norpro 1474 Reusable Pop Up Turkey Poultry Timer

Very funny
I bought one for myself and let my mother used it on Thanksgiving. She got so excited when the legs popped up and the entire house was laughing. All the women said they wanted one. The store I bought it from was out of stock so I ordered 5 from Amazon. It was a better price then I paid at the store and was the exact same brand. I have found that the plastic timers that come with chickens are not very accurate. This timer is not only amusing, but accurate as well. Great gift for someone just learning how to cook. I also got one for my daughters hope chest.

Cooks a nice bird.
I use this timer on my chickens while they cook in the convection oven. It ensures me the bird is cooked and good to eat. This prevents undercooked poultry.

Bad timing
I have used Pop timer that come's in the bird for years with suceess, but the bird I bought recently of course didn't have one so I bought one of this cute ones with bird un top, worst mistake of my life during cooking the bird melted and ruined my whole dinner.Later checked and found this has happened many times ,need to take off the market!

Futura Hard Anodised Concave Tava Griddle, 10-Inch, 6.35mm with Steel Handle

Best Tawa I have owned till date.
I cooked regularly when I was in India but never came across this Tava. I owned a traditional Cast Iron tawa produced locally and also another non-stick tava. All in all this tava is better than either.

It's production quality is top notch. Hawkins is a trusted brand. I had concerns about the metallic handle before I bought it. But in practice it is cool to the touch and has a clearly marked line beyond which it magically never heats up.

The hard anodized cooking surface takes a little getting used to (if you are used to cast iron), but has great non-stick properties while not sacrificing the smooth surface finish that is required in a tava to be effective.

Perfect for Indian Cooking
This Tava is what we wanted. It is perfect witdth and really good to make rotis (chappatis). It was worth buying this from Amazon at the price that we got. Spending a few dollars extra on ordering this from Amazon is worth saving all the hassle of buying it from India and lugging it to US.

Perfect tawa for Chappati
This is perfect tawa for making rotlli/chapati. I was using nonstick pan and now using these tawa chapati comes out perfect and really good. It is worth every penny. I had been looking it locally where I live but could not find anywhere. I found all kind of indian utensils from Amazon. I love the web site.

Enclume CWS6 6-Tier Cookware Stand, Hammered Steel (assembled)

Enclume 8-Tier Cookware Stand
I was skeptical to spend this much money on a cookware stand, but it is well worth the expenditure. It is structurally quite sound, and you will not really appreciate it's beauty until after you have placed your cookware on it. Definitely purchase the 8 tier over the six. If you're contemplating a cookware stand at all, you must need to get items out of your kitchen cabinets like I did, and you'll be sorry that you didn't get the 8 tier. Also, take the measurements and you'll see that the 8 tier is not overwhelmingly high.

Two words of advise. This is a cookware stand - not something that will accommodate bread-making machines and the like. So if you have these types of kitchen appliances in mind, forget it. This stand is exactly what it proclaims to be, a cookware stand. It is for your pots, pans and skillets - hopefully you have a complete set for the stand so it looks quite nice on display. The second word of advise is that the stand will ship from Enclume in...

Great Cookware Stand
At first, I resisted buying this stand because of the price. It is, however, the one used in a high end cookware stores to display their enameled cast ironware so I knew it had to be well made. I ended up buying a cheapy version that I had to assemble and I wasted $100.00. It was unstable and eventually twisted.

So I ended up buying this stand from Amazon. The stand comes fully assembled and is very well made and stable. The Amazon price is excellent compared to competitor sites and the shipping price currently charged is extremely competitive. Other sites charge much, much more for shipping which adds significantly to the total cost.

I find that when my Le Creuset collection is stored on a stand it is easily accessible and I am more apt to use it. Cast iron is wonderful to cook with, but extremely heavy to lug around, so when I stored it in my cupboards I found I didn't use it much.

I'm delighted with this product

STRONG 6-TIER COOKSTAND
I saw this in a William-Sonoma store, but it was heavy and hard to fit into my car, so I ordered the same stand from Amazon (free shipping!) and got it two days later. I'm pleased with the construction. It holds several pots and lids at once. I learned not to pile up skillets, bc the handles stick out, which makes for a loud hard clatter as they fall. Very useful if you collect LeCreuset or Emile Henry cookware, as you don't have to lift heavy pots to get to the one you want to use.

Le Creuset LS2024-1667 Signature Iron Handle Skillet, 6-1/3-Inch, Cherry

My first Le Creuset. I knew they were good... but, WOW!
Ok, so it's not like Le Creuset needs another positive review (although I'm the 1st for this product listing, probably for that very reason). They are a quality name and the longevity of their brand speaks for itself.

But I just have to say that I made a 2 egg omelette with this skillet and it was probably the best one I ever made. Not only were the eggs great - fantastic texture and evenly cooked - but I only needed some hot water and a soft sponge to clean the pan afterwards - NO SOAP! (The instructions that came with the pan say that you can use soap, but they recommend to only use hot water if there is no stubborn food residue.) I DID use some butter and brought both the fat and the pan up to heat together on medium heat, then low-med after I added the eggs. The only thing that stuck a little was the cheddar cheese that oozed out of the sides of the omelette a bit... but came off easily when washed.

As for the size - perfect for 2 large eggs if you're...

Best Slillet I Ever Owned!
If you can handle the weight of this skillet, it will never let you down. I thought it might be difficult to clean - not so. When you're cooking in it, the food just slides around. So far, it has impressed me in all areas. It's easy to see why Le Creuset is the "Gold Standard" of cast iron cookware.

Norpro KRONA 7.5 Quart Vented Pot with Straining Lid

Very nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish amazon had some good pics for these. These are nice, thick bottom for even heating, wide handles, good quality, riveted handles.

very good for pasta and for any other draining purposes.

Kron Stock pot is Sturdy
After searching local stores and not finding a stock pot that had a heavy base, I saw one like this on vacation. Due to its size, I decided to try to order it online after returning home. I found it on Amazon at a very good price. I am pleased with the function and performance of this cookware and may buy other Krona cookware.

loved this pot, then the handle fell off
We used this pot for several years and loved it, especially the thick bottom and the straining feature (though I agree with others here that you end up losing lots of spaghetti through the strainer if you're not careful). We used it for making popcorn quite often, which required some shaking to keep the popcorn from burning. All that shaking made the handle fall off. The handles are spot welded in 8 or nine places, but all of the welds seem to have broken.

The manufacturer says they won't fix it because it's older than a year.

Summary: this pot is awesome but if you shake it too much after a few years the handle falls off.

Lekue Hemisphere Ovo Egg Molds, Clear

Dont give up...
on the first attempt or even the second. It is always a bit tricky to get the perfect soft boiled egg no matter what method is used. I am now an ace at it and a devotee of Lekue egg molds! I purchased all three shapes and so pleased that i did so. The difference in the shapes depend on what will be accompanying the egg. I.e., the square i utilized for nestling the perfectly poached egg in a bed of wilted spinach topped with porchetta and hollandaise sauce....

Lekue egg cookers
I've learned how to cook eggs using the Lekue poachers in the microwave; separate the whites, cook them for about 40 seconds on medium power, add the yolks and microwave another 40 seconds, because the yolks cooks much faster. Be sure to olive oil and add seasonings to the cups first, keep trying till you get the eggs you want. A little practice and they work great.

Great bu gotta use Pam with it
This thing was bought on a whim but is just great. We don't really eat eggs but our 1 year old son seems to really like them and it seemed like so much work to try to fry an egg. We microwave the egg instead using this thing and it is great. Only caveat is you need to spray on Pam otherwise the eggs really sticks to it and it is a bit more work to clean up. That said, we now always use Pam and it makes cooking up a single egg really easy. Would definitely buy again.

Boska Holland Taste Collection Nero Fondue Set

Boska does not equal qualilty
I asked for this set as a Christmas present, which my mother graciously gave me. My wife and I were very excited, as we have long wanted a cheese fondue set, but, alas, came disappointment. Upon opening the box, the metal legs of the stand were only partially attached, but I thought, no big deal. However, I then noticed the base of the stand is anything but nice wood, probably pine stained dark. Also, the heating element is made of the flimsiest material. It can't be more than 1mm thick. The heating adjustment piece is not adjustable without touching the already hot metal of the heating element, which hopefully will not melt onto the table.

The handle of the actual fondue pot has a rubber stopper in it, which I am sure would melt if it were exposed to heat. Of course, the instructions say noting about removing it, so I'm sure someone with less kitchen experience would have that mess to deal with. What amuses me is, the hollow handle of the fondue pot is hollow to allow...

Rachael Ray Enamel On Steel Stockpot with Glass Lid

Not a good value
I bought this on clearance "all sales final", so I couldn't return it. Still doesn't excuse the issues.

1. The enamel flaked off the handle as soon as I removed it from the box. Just touched it and a huge chunk came off. I pained over it with home enamel repair to prevent it from rusting.

2. First use, a big spot of enamel came off the inside. Like a pimple on the side. Doesn't impact its use (unless it rusts), but its annoying to pay good money and have it fail on first use. And, of course, someone probable ate that enamel, since we never found it.

3. Finally, the lid doesn't fit right. Its about 3/16" too small in diameter, so it shifts around on top. If you set it right, it seals. If you don't, or it pressurizes, it shifts off and doesn't keep heat in.

The enamel chips on the bottom
Bought this and was pleased with the look, but I made a pot of chili and if you leave this on the stove for two hours on low, the bottom enamel will start to bubble and chip. Needless to say I was really upset. My whole pot of chili had crunchy little white things in it and was RUINED. I will NEVER buy any Racheal Ray product ever again. Poorly made. Waste of money.

Piece of garbage
My wife got this for her birthday. On the first use (NO JOKE) the soup she was making burned. She is an experienced cook and was cooking on low heat. When she poured the soup out she saw the pot had burned in the bottom. It's been sitting with water in it the past 4-5 days, but that scarred mark is not coming out. This thing is an utter piece of garbage!

Orka A94102 Silicone Lid, 6-Inch, Translucent

Very Pleased
I was so pleased with this when I received it I ordered two more. I thought this might be too small, but it's absolutely perfect for my Corningwear, and I use it instead of the bulky glass lids. Once excellent detail about these is that they can hang on your pot rack- so they are always available. I love that!

I use these lids all the time and saved a lot on plastic wrap
I have about 5 of these lids in different sizes. I use this one, and the mediium one the most. I use it mainly for covering refrigerated foods, or to cover snacks for appetizers that I have in bowls waiting for our dinner guests to arrive.

Works GREAT! Just as good as fancy name brand
So much less expensive than the fancy name brand that does the exact same thing. Highly recommend.
Easy to see into container since they are clear.

HIC 9.5" x 1.5" Round Quiche Dish, White

Solid construction, great value
I didn't have high expectations for this given the price, since the French-made porcelain pans are far more expensive. But, I was pleasantly surprised -- this is a very nice pan!

The glaze is evenly applied with no pops or bubbles. It conducts heat evenly with no hot spots. I've not yet been disappointed with anything I've made in it (well, at least in terms of baking evenness. Can't say the same with regard to how things tasted, but that's not the pan's fault!).

I prefer porcelain to stoneware since it's lighter and conducts heat better. On the downside, porcelain is far more fragile -- you'll want to take care with this and not bang it around, especially when cleaning (slippery when wet!).

Very pleased with how good a value this pan is. Highly recommend.

Ideal for quiches
The plate is ceramic (the first time it arrived broken, but Amazon replaced it at no cost). I use it mostly for quiches, as the pastry will not sick to the mold (as it happened with my previous metal mold), but I suppose it is also good to bake tartes. The size is medium, neither big nor small. I have no complaints and would recommend this item. The price was also reasonable.

Sturdy Dish
This dish is perfact. It is strong and looks very nice; much better than ceramic. I especially like the straight-up-and-down shape of the round quiche dish. I made a cheesecake and it turned out perfect. Each slice came out with ease and the cleanup was effortless. I need one just like this one that is 11" or 12" X 1.5.

TruClad 3-Ply Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set

HIGH quality cookware for a midrange price
I have MANY good things to say about the Zwilling Truclad pots & pans sets. Having burnt the bottoms right off of a few cheapo pots (partyly the cheap pots fault, partly my inclination to the highest heat settings, something I'm learning not to do....) I knew I wanted a fully clad pot and my husband insisted I get a GOOD set this time. If you're new to pots & pans research (and I did a TON of it before settling on this line) I'll tell you that full lined means that the conductive metal (in this case aluminum) goes all the way up the sides of the pot sandwiched between stainless steel (for looks & in many people opinions health). You'll often hear about a heavy base being an important feature in cookware - which it is - but this takes it further so it's ALL AROUND for better heat control. The handles are extremely comfortable (compare to All Clad for example where the u-shaped handles dug into the palm of my hand) with just a bit of a dip where your thumb can rest. They are also shaped...

Amazing cookware!
If you want All Clad quality and not the All Clad price, I highly recommend this. Upon reviews, I had purchased Cuisinart Multi-Pro and the French Classic line. I went through 2 sets of each because they came in damaged. Although aesthetically beautiful, they are not well made. Some had dents and scratches. The lids came with metal shavings still on them. The French line says stay cool handles and they do NOT stay cool! I washed one pan and didn't dry it right away and it had rust spots on the bottom the next morning. So, I researched again and found these. The Tru Clad still uses 18/10 stainless steel. This cookware is substantial! It heats evenly and quickly and you truly only have to use low heat. The handles are extremely comfortable and stay cool to the touch. The handles on the lids stay cool as well. When I took them out of the box, not a single scratch or dent. Beautiful. I cooked eggs, yes, eggs right off the bat and they did not stick! I love to be creative...

Suzanne
I did a lot of research before purchasing this 10-piece cookware set. In fact I even purchased another set that didn't work with my induction cooktop. I ended up purchasing this at Bed Bath and Beyond for $299 less 20% for my coupon. J Henkel is running a promotion so when you purchase this set, you also receive one of their 4 piece steak knife sets as a bonus.
These pots and pans are beautiful. They are substantial but not so heavy that they are uncomfortable to pick up. The handles stay cook when in use. There is even scored areas inside the sides of the pots and pans that tell you measurements. They clean up beautifully. In my research I noticed that some induction ready cookware made a hissing sound. This is not noticed with this set by me. I was considered All Clad but frankly, didn't see the necessity in spending twice as much. I am very satisfied with this cookware and highly recommend it.

GSI Outdoors 10-Inch Hard Anodized Dutch Oven

GSI hard anodized dutch oven
Simply the best. As a whitewater rafter I value space, weight, and versatility. 10" nestles inside 12" and weighs little. Buy an oven bag for transport. They don't rust, cook and clean up like non-stick. Invert the lids and fry eggs or pancakes. With 2 of each size, I serve main course, side dish, sourdough bread and dessert for 8 people. Don't get me wrong, I love my cast iron, but not on a river trip.

Almost perfect camping cookware! No rust and no non-stick coating! Excellent cooking qualities!
I originally got the 12" anodized aluminum dutch oven with legs, and liked it so much, I got the 10" one too (without legs).

I've been looking for campfire cookwear with good cooking qualities that doesn;t have a non-stick coating, which is hard to find unless you want to go the cast-iron way. I love the GSI heavy-duty anodized aluminum DO's - non-reactive with some non-stickish qualities but no non-stick coating to flake or wear off like other aluminum lightweight camping cookware. No cast-iron seasoning to do, no worries about rust or rancidness, and incredibly lightweight compared to cast iron. Heats up fast, heats evenly, and retains the heat (although it doesn;t cook quite as evenly or retain heat quite as long as cast iron). I love this anodizied cookware, because it behaves like the high-quality cookware I have at home (older Calphalon anodized aluminum without the non-stick coating, and All-Clad with stainless interiors), which makes it much more predictable for me...

Hard anodized aluminium dutch oven
Great product. Very light and ideal size for backpacking. Cleans up very well compared to regular aluminium and cast iron camp ovens.Heats up quickly and does a nice job of baking deserts. Delivered on time and a great price too with free shipping

Lid for 14" Wok (dome lid 18 gauge) Made in USA

High Quality Wok Lid
This is a high quality wok lid. I was apprehensive because of the price, however, given the heavy guage material it is made of, the decent sized knob, and the excellent packaging; the price is reasonable. I am very satisfied with the item and the seller. THANKS!

Just the thing I needed!
Its light weight and made from some kind of aluminium so if you are going to be rough on it this is not the lid for you! However it is solid and work wonders when you want to steam veggies in your wok!

Flimsy, easily bent and warped
Been using it for past few months. It is dented (despite handling it pretty carefully) and does not seal properly (as a wok-lid).

Looking for something better... to match the awesome wok ('Lodge Pro-Logic 14-Inch Cast-Iron Wok with Loop Handles') I use this with.

Supreme Housewares Whistling Tea Kettle, Cow

A fun way to boil water
Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife who loves all things Jersey Cow. I called the seller to make sure they had it in stock, so order was entered over phone.

The Paint is pretty well coated top, bottom and inside. The handle is a pretty tough plastic secured with two screws from the outside. The lid secures tightly to ensure vapors go through the spout. The cow head on the spout is mostly plastic but seems pretty sturdy. Yes it is not bulletproof like the 1950s tea kettles, but this one is way better built than most tea kettles I have seen.

When the water reaches a boil the steam goes through the head and comes out the nostrils (cute feature). I will say though the sound is not really a MOOOOO, it is more like HAAAAAA, but no complaints there. So much better than the typical tea kettle high pitch whistle.

what whistle???
Its cute but it doesn't always whistle, at least mine doesn't. Actually it only whistled once since i got it. I have used it many many times and it doesn't whistle. The only reason I kept it is b/c its cute. I just put on my tea pot to boil water for tea. I forgot about it. The water boiled out. Not one moo not one whistle came out of it---i wasn't that far away so I would have heard it.

cow tea kettle
my future mother in law loves this. it is her favorite animal. and she was thrilled that i was able to find one that could replace her old broken one.

Frieling Platinum 41-Ounce Beverage Server

works good
Good insulation, very solid construction, sleek lines, nicely-hinged lid so no parts to fall off or to lose. I got it for keeping water hot on the woodstove after I broke yet another ceramic teapot. This is sturdy! And when I take it to the table, it keeps the beverage nice & warm for a long time.

Two out of three were defective.
I bought this for a bride-to-be who had it on her wish list. The first two of these were defective because of corrosion on the interior bottom. Finally, the third one my future niece received was acceptable. It was frustrating to say the least! Having said that, the beverage server is attractive and the sugar and creamer that match arrived in perfect condition. The couple were happy with all these items.

Solid Piece of craftsmanship
Love this thing. Makes the most perfect cup of coffee for me and company. Totally worth the price. I've had mine for years now and never fails to impress. Insulation is awesome, keeps coffee hot for 3 hours with lid closed. Easy clean up and use. Can't ask for anything better.

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized II Nonstick Dishwasher Safe 3-Quart Covered Saucepot, Orange

Nice little pot
A good pot.
Like the glass lid and the two handles.
It is a nice size for making Mac n cheese for the kids.
The interior and exterior finish is durable.

Good but not Great
I purchased this item to complement the Rachel Ray Hard Anodized set that I already owned. While in the pictures they look the same the plastic handles on this item are made of a different material and feel cheap and plasticy (not a word). These handles also get very hot while cooking unlike the other pots from the set. The metal is a little bit thinner than the pots from the set as well. However, overall it looks close enough to make me happy and gives me that extra pot which I desperately needed.

Fabulous
This is a great mini stock pot!! Love the smaller version.. No handle sticking over the stove and is roomy when trying to prepare several things! Cooks things great, no sticking and these clean awesome!! No scrubbing required :) also love this comes with a lifetime warranty! So nice!! You would be doing yourself a favor by purchasing 1! Love Rachel ray!!

Lot of 4 White Plastic Egg Cups Cook Hard Soft Boiled

Plain 'good'
Not the greatest, yet worked for its purposed. I have used them twice, but seems ok. Color's neutral, so match most of my crockery.

treat for the kids
My step kids are American and have never had "Egg Soldiers". I brought these egg cups so I could try a good old english breakfast out on them and they loved it. Wonderful value for money and ideal for kids as they are plastic and will not break. We buy large eggs and they fit just fine in these particular egg cup holders.

Perfect For What They Are
I just recently began enjoying soft-boiled eggs. The trick is to cook them lightly and quickly--the runny yolks and soft set whites are so yummy! I needed egg cups, but I didn't want to invest much. Who knows if I'll even still like soft-boiled eggs a year from now. Since I don't plan on serving them at an elegant breakfast for company, plastic works just fine.

These are durable plastic. I think I could drop these from the roof onto the driveway, and they wouldn't crack or chip. They're thick and compact. You can see a slight seem from the factory mold, but its only noticeable if you look for it. Because they're plastic, not metal, they stay cool to the touch with hot eggs in them. They are too small for the my dishwasher, so they must be washed by hand, but that's easy if you rinse them out right away. If you don't spill any of the yolks onto them, they shouldn't need washing at all.

Large eggs fit in these if you put the pointed sides down. They stay secured...
