LOVE THIS PAN
I abslolutely LOVE this pan! Not only is it totally non-stick it's the perfect size for every day use. Also, unlike other DARK interior pans that never feel quite clean this one gets sqeaky clean with no effort at all. While it's true that these particular pans aren't utensil safe, that's a very minor issue. After discovering how wonderful this was I also order the larger 10" covered pan.
Beautiful eggs everytime
Calphalon pans perform excellently. If you want a high quality pan, this is a an excellent product. I thought it might be helpful to potential buyers to have a comparison between this CS pan to Calphalon's traditional (contemporary style) non-stick pan with the dark coating in the same size. The CS pan seems to be a bit thinner and consequently seems to heat up a bit faster, though just as evenly as the traditional. I mostly use these pans for cooking eggs and the odd thing that the CS pan does is when frying eggs over-easy, the eggs have what looks like microscopic bubble holes when you flip them. It's barely noticeable and certainly not unappetizing, but that doesn't happen with the other pan. Non-stick pans in general can be easily damaged. So, if you're looking for a tough, take any kind of abuse cookware, don't get the non-stick or perhaps buy a cheap non-stick that you can toss without regret. Awesome omelet pan
This pan is just what I wanted.It doesn't stick at all. I make alot of omelets for my family and before I bought this pan I couldn't even make an omelet.
