Excellent pan, pot, skillet, stir fry, whatever...
and strangely enough,... made in Germany. Thick walled, sturdy, neither heavy nor light, good low-heat pan... it is a breeze to clean, too. I expecially love the handle; it is very comfortable to my medium/large hands. I found a Pedrini 24cm (about 9.5" lip to lip, approx....10" edge to edge) glass lid that is the perfect size for braising or cooking at low heat w/ this Berndes. Great pan...and I got a great deal from Amazon. I highly recommend this if you get one of these that are made in Germany. Some are said to be made in China...and I have no knowledge of the quality and performance of those. This one is just about perfect for me. I hope I can find other Berndes cookware. This piece is really a keeper.
